Indiana Chinook is the base stallion for the Love-L Ranch. He was
foaled on March 9, 1995 at Indiana Ranch (Joan Zeleny in Petaluma, CA). He
is a friendly, easy-to-work-with stallion. He is a powerful animal
with boundless energy. He is quick to learn and passes these traits on to
his offspring. As you can see from the
picture below, he has outstanding coat and conformation.
Indiana Chinook stands 15.2 hands tall. He has a pedigree (see below) that combines the strengths
of many athletic ancestors. Richlou Adonis was a pleasure driving horse and producer of many individuals of
size and sport-horse capabilities. Viking Masterpiece successfully competed at
the top ten level in open endurance events. Belle Heather was a champion cutting
horse, also in open competition. Waer's Playboy sired over 200 offspring that
have excelled in Western and English events in Morgan and open shows. Valiant
Schoolgirl was shown in English, Western, and Dressage with success. Chinook has
the good looks, size, movement and trainability to excel in sport-horse and
western pleasure. His first foals out of Triton Katie show the promise of his
heritage to be a reality. We look forward to your inquires about Indiana
Chinook-the smooth blend of eastern and western bloodlines, disposition-kind
enough to be handled by first time horse owners and athletic ability-the legacy
of long term breeding programs will bring you satisfaction in your selection of
this fine stallion for your mare.
